SCO Unix to Windows 95/98 Reform Setup Notes

Setting up Reform on 95/98 pc networked to SCO Openserver

Set up and confirm TCP/IP from Windows to Unix using visionfs or facetwin or other.

Create shared directory on unix server and check if accesable from Network
Neighborhood on Windows.

In the Reform spooler setup, set spooling directory path to shared directory
by opening folder and browsing for path to the directory.
 ie: \\server\shared-directory

From filePro - create your output and send it to a file with 'printer file "outputname", then
copy outputname file  to /shared-directory/outputname.OUT

I suggest writing the data from filePro to a file in the user's directory to avoid multiple
users from doing the same report and overwriting each other's file.
See sample scripts Newusrs and Process for suggestions.

Create form in Reform and save as outputname.FOM
See Reform Quickstart for how to do a form setup.

In the Reform spooler, click on Refresh List and your new output will show on the list.

When outputname.OUT arrives in the shared directory, Reform matches the
outputname and the formname and sends the merged results to the printer
or fax program.
