UNIX Setup |
| Reform is not Network dependent,
and will run seamlessly on any Unix Network. Since the program Reform will
only run on a Window 95/98 or NT (Workstation or Server) we recommend the
following setup:
In order to use Reform on a UNIX network you will need a Windows 95/98/NT station running Reform connected to your network (usually via TCP/IP protocol). First, create a directory on the Unix file server and call it "spooler" or something to that effect. This directory will serve as a shared directory between the workstations and the Windows machine running Reform. In Reform setup, change the "spooler directory location" to the shared spooler location on the Unix file server. The applications to be used with Reform will need to redirect their printouts to this directory in order for Reform to detect and process the output files. |
