Unique Layout

The unique layout function allows users to define pages in their application generated forms that contains a different layout on each page. The example below is a chart of accounts from an accounting system. In this report the designer knows it will always be 3 pages and each page will have a different structure. To setup this type of report the user must create 3 different Reform formats. Each format must be link to the next with the advance page option enabled.

Rules for using the Unique layout function:
1.) Each page must have a Reform format in this example COA.FOM, COA-2.FOM and COA-3.FOM were used. COA.FOM was link to COA-2.FOM with advance page enabled, COA-2.FOM was link to COA-3.FOM with advance page enabled, COA-3.FOM was not linked.
2.) If the outputted information is more pages than format link the last Reform format will be used until outputted information is used up.
3.) If the last Reform format is link to first format Reform will loop until the outputted information is completed.

The example below is a common way to layout a Chart of Account report, as you can see Reform allow total control of the formats, but allowing each format to be unique. Like with many forms the structure of each page always remains constant.
