How to Create a Form with Reform

How to create a form in reform once you have a shared directory and a text output.

In Windows, click Start - Programs - Reform - Form Editor

Click on the Text Layer tab, then File - Open Text File.  Browse to the shared directory or
where ever you placed your text output.

Click to open the file and see your text.  This output can be 132 characters wide and even be
a default output from filePro.  The placement on the text output is not important since you can
set the placement in the Design Layer in Reform.

For a 1 to 4 line group of text or just a field of data, click on the 'ABC' button and a box will
appear in the top left corner.  Drag and drop the box over the data field you want to start with,
then resize by pulling on an edge to fit the data field.

Switch to the Design Layer tab and you will find the box with some data in it.  Place it where
you want on the form, resize it then right click to change the font.

For columns of data use the icon that looks like 'ABCD' in rows.   Size the box for the maximum
length of the data column.  Follow the steps above to the Design Layer.

Then add boxes and lines and graphics.

Be impressed, get happy, look good to your customers.  Show them that filePro now has
a new friend to keep it around and looking good for a long time.   Forget junk like Access and
other winderz stuff.
